Large Raku Pottery Tealight Tree

Slab built technique used to create this ornamental piece 13 inches tall, 5.1 inches wide at base and then raku fired using a copper glaze.  
Fired to 1000 degrees and then removed from the kiln, put into a reduction bin filled with shredded paper and sawdust and then the lid put on to oxidise.  The oxidisation then creates the copper effect on the piece.
